Accounting Assistant
Reporting to the company’s Office Manager and General Manager of Operations, the Accounting Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Reporting to the company’s Office Manager and General Manager of Operations, the Accounting Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Answering telephone calls/emails and relaying messages
- Welcoming and attending to customers in the office
- Communication with customers regarding project timelines and scheduling in support of Estimators
- Data processing, including:
- Entering customer data into project management software
- Entering sales orders into accounting software
- Data organization, file management, and electronic/paper filing systems maintenance
- Customer payment collections and processing
- Scanning and uploading invoices, receipts and other requested documents to Dext Software
- Assist Office Manager with day to day data entry, filing and other duties as requested
- Accounts Receivable, weekly
- Accounts Payable, monthly
- Weekly and Monthly reporting
- Payroll
- Invoicing customers upon project completion
- Responding to project documentation requests
- Updating customer data base
- Office cleaning and organization
- Other clerical duties in support of office function
