General Labourer

Reporting to the company’s General Manager of Operations, the General Labourer will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Preparing in-house manufactured aluminum products for powder-coating
• Grinding
• Sanding
• Drilling Cutting
• Clearly engrave rails to maintain a clear logbook
• Read & Interpret shop drawings
• Washing with Hydrofluoric agent
• Overhead Gantry operations
• Forklift operations
• Pressure Washing
• Loading and unloading materials
• General shop cleanup
• Applying Powder coating finish
• Cleaning spray booth
• Oven operations
• Assembling products for job completion
• Assisting loading and unloading materials such as glass/aluminum
• Load product
• Transport product
• Install product
• Strong communication with Scheduler, Estimators, General Manager of
• Operations, customers and sub-trades
• Use company software to update project status
• Complete and submit paperwork to office
• Ensure vehicles are stocked daily
• Keep vehicles clean and organized daily
• Ensure vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance requirements are communicated to GM
• Maintain clean products and work sites
• Report problems/mistakes to Supervisor, Manager or Estimator involved in project
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist in other departments
